Al-Khair Annual BBQ & Funday:

As you may know, Al-Khair School is holding their annual bbq and funday on Saturday 6th July at Orchard Playing Fields, William Booth Road, SE20 8BG inshaAllah. This promises to be our biggest and best event yet but we need all of your help.

We need everyone in the foundation and events to tell their family and friends, or at least to promote the event in their circles and social media profiles. The poster is attached to this email.

We also need promoting on IQRA Channel

We need donations!

Food donations – marinated meat, salad, buns/wraps, biryani, samosas, drinks (cans/cartons) etc. If you know of an individual or business willing to donate, please contact Sr Aliya on 07445873681 or aliya.ali@alkhairschool.org.uk

Equipment loan – generator, skip stall tables and chairs, gazebos – for the day.  Please call Sr Aliya on 07445873681 or aliya.ali@alkhairschool.org.uk

Stall donations – toys, mehendhi, face painting kits, products to sell, arts and crafts, auctionable items. For stall donations, contact me at nadia.elwahabi@alkhairschool.org.uk

We need volunteers on the day. Cooks, parking volunteers, wardens, stall runners, general assistants, ticket sellers, ushers etc

Please let us know if you would be willing to volunteer even if only for a part of the time. We cannot emphasise this enough! We NEED volunteers.
