Admission & Fees – Oldbury


Fee Schedule January 2025

(VAT Inc.)

The VAT will be charged from January 2026., from January 2026 the amount of VAT payable for the academic year Sep25 will be £360 per child. The following year Sep 26 the full 20% (£600) VAT will be charged per child per year.

1. Admission Applications

1.1 A non-refundable registration fee of £50 is applicable per child, per application.

Deposit

1.2 A deposit of £200 per child. This needs to be paid on acceptance of their place in the school. This is refundable at the end of your child’s school time, according to our policy a minimum notice period of one school term is required to receive the refunded deposit.

1.3 A month’s/Term’s/Annual fee(s) in advance of your child’s school attendance.

1.4 All these payments will need to be made before the child begins school. All payments will be made through the link that we will be providing you with. We currently are using Eduspot School money for online payment. This is a safe and easy way to pay.

  1. Fees for the Academic year

Primary school fees

2.1 £3000 + 20% VAT = £3600 per year

2.2 The fee can be paid using three methods:

1 annual payment – A payment of £3000 + 20% VAT = £3600 must be paid by 20th September.

3 termly payments, to be paid before the 1st day of each term (3 x £1200). A Payment of £1200 will be due on the 1st Sep, 1st Jan and 1st April. The school fees will be a total of £3000 + 20% VAT = £3600 per year

10 Monthly Instalments (10 x £360.00) due on the first working day of each month and
no later than the 4th.. The school fees will be a total of £3600 Inc. VAT.

2.4 SEND Fees

We are a school that supports the abilities of all children, including those that have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. For the external SEND support for children the local authority will charge for their services.

2.5 Resources Fees

The resources fee of £50 a term should be paid at the start of each term ( 3x £50 =£150).

2.6 Forest Schooling sessions

All children from nursery to year 6 will attend a weekly forest schooling session at the school site in the summer term. TBC
The fee is £35 per term per child.
This should be paid in the first week of the summer term.

3. Disclaimer

3.1 Fees are subject to annual review and periodical increase, with a terms notice.

3.2 One term’s notice in writing is required to withdraw a pupil from the school. If such notice is not given, the deposit will not be refunded.

3.3 Parents will be required to make small contributions towards their child’s learning resources from time to time.

3.4 All cheques should be made payable to Al Khair School

The 2nd child/sibling or more receives a 5% discount which reduces the
annual fee to £2850 + £570 VAT = £3420 or spreads over 10 months at
£342.00 per month. (Please note that the 1st child will pay the full amount and is not entitled to the 5% sibling discount.)
Fees are due by the 4th of every month.
1st Instalment is due by 1st Sep 2025 and last is due by 1st June 2026
